Vitrolife has developed culture media for all procedures and the individual stages of embryo development and the media may be used in your culture system of choice.

We provide ASP™- 125 oocyte aspiration media, IVF™ -30 in vitro fertilization and cleavage medium, which is designed for embryo culture from the six to eight cell stage to the blastocyst stage.

We also supply Ovoil™- 100 which is designed for covering the surface of the media in culture tubes, wells, or droplets. It is sterile, filtered, light paraffin oil with exceptionally high purity.

The Vitrolife media for micromanipulation includes media for procedures such as ICSI, assisted hatching and embryo biopsy. These include G-Gamete™ (Contains HSA) 1 x 30 mL. which is designed for handling of gametes outside of the incubator. ICSI which is a viscous sperm handling solution designed to facilitate sperm immobilization and injection to the oocyte. HYASE™ -10X which is a 10 times concentrated solution to be used after dilution for denudation of oocytes prior to ICSI procedures.

Another development at Vitrolife is the introduction of EmbryoGlue® - implantation promoting medium. The ultimate goal of infertility treatment is to maximize the possibility of a live birth. Their is no risk of virus (HIV, HBV, HCV) or prion (CJD) contamination r-HA minimizes LOT-to-LOT variation and enables the formulations of completely defined IVF culture media.
